If your child is a state subsidy client, I may request a “Special Needs Rate” to better accommodate and meet your child’s needs. This allows me to ensure that your child is cared for and that I have the extra staff needed to help assist your child and their individual needs. This process includes using provided documentation from your child’s individual care plan (such as an IEP, IFSP, or supporting documentation from your child’s healthcare provider) and obtaining your written permission to request the additional funding from the state.
